Welcome to Huntington Beach Sushi Ya Japanese Restaurant

We hope you will make Sushi Ya your second home, where you can enjoy delicious, fresh, healthy food at an affordable price in a comfortable relaxed setting.  We have been in Huntington Beach, CA for six years quietly building loyal customers one at a time.

Our cooking philosophy is to provide you with delicious, fresh, nutritious meals by minimizing preparation steps and avoiding excessive decorations, additives, and flavor enhancers like MSG.  We make most of our sauces and dressings from scratch in order to make them healthy and delicious.

We offer traditional Japanese food with touch of Californian flavor.

From the sushi bar, you may  get delicious sashimi and sushi prepared fresh in front of you. 

Try our boat if you are not sure which dish is to your liking and would like to sample various items.  We designed boat for two to four people.

If you are in a group, perhaps sharing various special sushi rolls will acquaint you with the fantastic taste of "California Fusion" sushi rolls, which were invented here in Southern California utilizing fresh local ingredients. We recommend sharing because one order (one roll) is already large and filling for one person.

Please also do not forget to check out our Lunch Specials which are various combinations of hearty, tasty, healthy foods at very affordable prices.

For hungrier crowd, we recommend our Bento boxes.  Bentos available for lunch and dinner include choice of spicy pork, BBQ beef, sesame chicken, grilled beef, chicken or salmon marinated in our home made teriyaki sauce, salad, mixed tempura, and California roll.  Of course steamed rice comes with it.

For people who are watching carbohydrate intakes, we would like to suggest one of our sashimi salads that are low in calorie but full of vitamin, mineral and all the good stuff.

For your relaxed dinner, please try our sake (rice wine).   Of course, we have variety of Japanese and other Asian beer as well for you to quench your thirst.

And for the last but not the least, please save some room for our delicious desserts like shaved ice, ice cream tempura, mochi ice cream, banana tempura.
